Enter your OpenAI API key to enable AI-powered filament color suggestions. Your key is encrypted and stored securely on our servers. It's only used to make AI requests on your behalf.
Auto Colors uses a cost-conscious OpenAI mini vision model by default, with server-side fallbacks if that model is unavailable. Requests depend on token usage and project images.
Secure storage: Your API key is encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption and stored server-side. Only you can access it after logging in.
How to get your API key:
Important: Keep your API key secure. Never share it publicly. You'll be charged for API usage based on OpenAI's pricing.
Set the server URL used for login and data sync. Required for the Chrome extension.
